Curious Dot Lab(이하 "회사")은 모바일 게임 Rune Link(이하 "서비스")를 제공하면서 이용자의 개인정보를 「개인정보 보호법」 및 관계 법령에 따라 보호하고, 다음과 같이 처리합니다.

1. 처리하는 개인정보의 항목

서비스는 회원가입 절차가 없으며, 이름·생년월일·전화번호·주소·연락처·사진·정밀 위치정보·기기 내 파일을 수집하지 않습니다. 서비스 제공을 위해 처리하는 항목은 다음과 같습니다.

서비스는 이용자의 기기 안에서만 동작하는 로컬 게임입니다. 게임 진행 상황, 보유 재화·용사·아이템, 스테이지 클리어 기록, 사운드·언어 등 설정값은 이용자의 모바일 기기 내부 저장 영역(Capacitor Preferences, localStorage, IndexedDB)에만 저장되며 회사의 서버로 전송되거나 백업되지 않습니다. 서비스는 계정 연동이나 클라우드 저장 기능을 제공하지 않으므로 회사는 게임 데이터의 사본을 보유하지 않습니다.

따라서 앱을 삭제하면 위 데이터는 전부 기기에서 함께 삭제되며, 삭제된 데이터는 회사도 이용자도 복구할 수 없습니다. 서비스 내 데이터 삭제 기능을 실행한 경우에도 같습니다.

1.4 만 14세 미만 아동

서비스는 만 13세 이상을 대상으로 하며, 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않고 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보가 법정대리인의 동의 없이 수집된 사실을 인지한 경우, 회사는 지체 없이 해당 정보를 파기합니다.

2. 개인정보의 처리 목적

회사는 위 목적 외의 용도로 개인정보를 이용하지 않으며, 목적이 변경되는 경우 관계 법령에 따라 별도의 동의를 받습니다.

3. 처리의 법적 근거

• -iOS에서는 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 이용한 추적에 대하여 앱 실행 시 App Tracking Transparency(ATT) 동의를 요청하며, 동의하지 않는 경우 IDFA를 수집하지 않습니다.
• -Android에서는 기기 설정 > 개인정보 보호 > 광고에서 광고 ID 삭제 또는 재설정을 통해 맞춤형 광고를 거부할 수 있습니다.

4. 개인정보 처리의 위탁 및 제3자 제공

회사는 서비스 제공을 위하여 다음의 수탁자에게 개인정보 처리를 위탁하고 있습니다. 회사는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다.

회사는 위 위탁 외에 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 다만 다음의 경우에는 관계 법령에 따라 제공할 수 있습니다.

1. 1.이용자가 사전에 동의한 경우
2. 2.법령에 특별한 규정이 있거나, 수사기관이 법령에 정한 절차와 방법에 따라 요구한 경우
3. 3.통계 작성 또는 학술 연구 등을 위하여 특정 개인을 알아볼 수 없는 형태로 가공하여 제공하는 경우

5. 개인정보의 국외 이전

제4조의 수탁자는 대한민국 외의 국가에 소재한 서버에서 개인정보를 처리합니다.

이용자는 개인정보의 국외 이전을 거부할 수 있습니다. 다만 광고·분석 목적의 이전을 거부하는 경우 제7조의 방법으로 맞춤형 광고 및 분석을 제한할 수 있으며, 결제·서비스 제공에 필수적인 이전을 거부하는 경우 해당 기능의 이용이 제한될 수 있습니다.

6. 개인정보의 보유 기간 및 파기

① 회사는 처리 목적이 달성되면 개인정보를 지체 없이 파기합니다. 다만 관계 법령에서 보존을 요구하는 경우 해당 기간 동안 보관합니다.

② 전자적 파일 형태의 개인정보는 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 영구 삭제하고, 출력물 등은 파쇄 또는 소각합니다.

③ 이용자의 기기에 저장된 게임 데이터(제1.3조)는 회사가 사본을 보유하지 않으며, 앱을 삭제하면 기기에서 전부 즉시 삭제되고 복구되지 않습니다. 서비스 내 데이터 삭제 기능을 실행한 경우에도 같습니다.

7. 정보주체의 권리와 행사 방법

① 이용자는 언제든지 다음의 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.

② 권리 행사는 curiousdot.lab@gmail.com 으로 접수하며, 회사는 요청을 받은 날로부터 10일 이내에 처리 결과를 통지합니다. 요청 시 처리 대상을 특정하기 위하여 광고 식별자 또는 앱 내에 표시되는 이용자 식별자, 결제 영수증 등의 확인을 요청할 수 있습니다. 다만 게임 데이터는 회사의 서버에 존재하지 않으므로, 게임 데이터의 삭제는 별도의 요청 없이 앱을 삭제하는 것만으로 즉시 완료됩니다.

③ 이용자는 아래의 방법으로 직접 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.

④ 이용자는 법정대리인 또는 위임을 받은 대리인을 통하여 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다. 이 경우 「개인정보 보호법 시행규칙」 별지 제11호 서식에 따른 위임장을 제출해야 합니다.

8. 개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치

1. 1.관리적 조치 — 개인정보 취급자를 최소한으로 지정하고 접근 권한을 차등 부여하며, 개인정보 보호책임자를 지정하여 운영합니다.
2. 2.기술적 조치 — 개인정보를 전송하는 모든 통신 구간에 HTTPS(TLS) 암호화를 적용하고, 수탁자 콘솔 접근에 대하여 접근 통제 및 2단계 인증을 적용합니다.
3. 3.최소 수집 — 서비스 제공에 필요한 최소한의 항목만 처리하며, 이름·연락처·위치정보 등은 수집하지 않습니다.

9. 개인정보 자동 수집 장치의 설치·운영 및 거부

서비스는 웹 브라우저의 쿠키를 이용하지 않습니다. 다만 서비스에 포함된 제3자 SDK가 기기 식별자 및 유사한 기술을 이용하여 정보를 수집할 수 있으며, 이용자는 제7조 제3항의 방법으로 이를 거부할 수 있습니다.

10. 개인정보 관련 문의 및 권익침해 구제

① 개인정보 처리에 관한 문의, 불만 처리, 피해 구제는 아래로 접수합니다.

② 이용자는 개인정보 침해로 인한 구제를 받기 위하여 아래 기관에 분쟁 해결이나 상담을 신청할 수 있습니다.

11. 방침의 변경

본 방침을 변경하는 경우 회사는 변경 사항과 시행일을 시행일 7일 전부터, 이용자에게 불리한 변경의 경우 30일 전부터 서비스 내 또는 본 방침 게시 페이지에 공지합니다. 종전 방침은 요청 시 확인할 수 있도록 보관합니다.

Curious Dot Lab ("we", "us") provides the mobile game Rune Link (the "Service") and processes personal information in accordance with the Korean Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws, as described below. Region-specific rights for the EEA/UK, California, and other jurisdictions are set out in section 12.

1. Information We Process

The Service requires no account registration and does not collect your name, date of birth, phone number, address, contacts, photos, precise location, or files on your device.

The Service is a local game that runs entirely on your device. Game progress, owned currency, heroes and items, stage clear records, and settings such as sound and language are stored only in your device's local storage (Capacitor Preferences, localStorage, IndexedDB) and are never transmitted to or backed up on our servers. The Service offers no account linking and no cloud save, so we hold no copy of your Game Data.

Consequently, deleting the app deletes all of that data from your device, and once deleted it cannot be recovered by us or by you. The same applies if you run the in-app data deletion function.

1.4 Children

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over (14 and over in the Republic of Korea) and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information. If we learn that we have collected such information without the consent of a legal guardian, we will delete it without delay.

2. Purposes

We do not use personal information for purposes other than those above; where a purpose changes, we obtain separate consent as required by law.

3. Legal Bases

• -On iOS we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before using the IDFA for tracking; if you decline, we do not collect the IDFA.
• -On Android you can opt out of personalised advertising by deleting or resetting your advertising ID in device settings.

4. Processors and Disclosure

We engage the processors below to provide the Service. We do not sell personal information.

We do not otherwise disclose personal information to third parties, except: with your prior consent; where required by law or by a lawful request from an investigative authority; or in a form from which individuals cannot be identified, for statistical or research purposes.

5. International Transfers

The processors listed in section 4 process data on servers outside the Republic of Korea.

Transfers from the EEA or the UK rely on the European Commission's adequacy decisions or on Standard Contractual Clauses concluded with the relevant processor. You may refuse international transfers; refusing transfers for advertising and analytics can be effected by the means in section 7, while refusing transfers essential to payment or service provision may restrict the corresponding features.

6. Retention and Deletion

We delete personal information without delay once its purpose has been achieved, except where law requires retention:

Electronic files are deleted irrecoverably; printed materials are shredded or incinerated. We hold no copy of the Game Data stored on your device (section 1.3): deleting the app erases all of it from the device immediately and irreversibly, as does running the in-app data deletion function.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, and may object to international transfers.

Send requests to curiousdot.lab@gmail.com. We will respond within 10 days of receipt. Because the Service has no account, we may ask you to provide your advertising identifier, the user identifier shown in the app, or a purchase receipt so that we can locate the relevant data. Note that Game Data does not exist on our servers, so deleting your Game Data needs no request - simply deleting the app completes it immediately.

You may act through a legal guardian or an authorised agent; Korean law requires a power of attorney in the statutory form in that case.

8. Security Measures

1. 1.Organisational — we keep the number of people with access to a minimum, apply differentiated access rights, and designate a data protection officer.
2. 2.Technical — all transmission of personal information uses HTTPS (TLS), and access to processor consoles is subject to access control and two-factor authentication.
3. 3.Data minimisation — we process only what the Service requires and do not collect names, contact details, or location data.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Service does not use browser cookies. Third-party SDKs included in the Service may collect information using device identifiers and similar technologies; you can opt out by the means described in section 7.

11. Changes to This Policy

We will announce any change, together with its effective date, at least 7 days before it takes effect — and at least 30 days in advance where the change is unfavourable to users — within the Service or on the page where this policy is published. Prior versions are retained and available on request.

12. Region-Specific Rights

12.1 EEA and United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

We act as the controller for the processing described here; the legal bases are set out in section 3.

• -You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and data portability, and the right not to be subject to solely automated decisions producing legal effects (we do not carry out such decision-making).
• -Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by the means in section 7; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
• -You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, or with the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
• -We have not appointed an EU/UK representative under Article 27; enquiries should be sent to curiousdot.lab@gmail.com.
• -Transfers outside the EEA/UK rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in section 5.

12.2 California (CCPA / CPRA)

• -In the twelve months preceding the effective date of this policy, we collected the categories of personal information described in section 1 — identifiers, commercial information (purchase records), internet or other electronic network activity, and geolocation inferred coarsely from IP address — for the purposes in section 2.
• -We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We share advertising identifiers and app usage data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising, which is treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under California law.
• -To opt out, use the device-level controls in section 7 (delete or reset the advertising ID on Android; decline tracking on iOS) or email us.
• -You have the rights to know, delete, correct, and to non-discrimination for exercising them. Requests may be submitted to curiousdot.lab@gmail.com and may be made by an authorised agent.
• -We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

12.3 Other jurisdictions

Where the law of your country of residence grants you rights broader than those described above, we honour those rights to the extent that law requires. Contact curiousdot.lab@gmail.com.
